A long standing interest in holistic health, spiritual consciousness and the healing capacity of the natural world runs through my work.
This page offers a closer look at my background, experiences and training that have informed my work over the past few decades. It shows how the different strands of my learning and practice developed and continue to influence the way in which I work.
My first career was as a lawyer working in City institutions. The work was demanding and provided me with a good foundation in analysis and structuring and presenting information. However, I also became aware of the pressure and stress that affected many people working in the City and experienced a growing sense that my real vocation lay elsewhere.
During these years, I developed an interest in health and wellbeing. This led me to explore meditation, yoga, healing and ancient wisdom teachings.
As this interest deepened, I began formal training in meditation and healing practices. After completing meditation instructor training, I started teaching meditation to small groups, initially within the City of London and later in my local community.
Following the birth of my three children, my focus expanded to include work with children. I qualified as a children’s yoga teacher in 2005 and taught yoga, relaxation, and meditation in primary schools and small groups. During this time, I saw how meditation could support children not only with stress, but also with imagination, creativity, and emotional awareness.
I trained at the Lakeland College of Homeopathy and qualified as a homeopath is 2009. I have been am a member of the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths and practised as a homeopath and holistic practitioner since then.
I offer consultations and prepare remedies for adults and children for many physical and emotional issues and to support the different stages of life. I also use a biofeedback machine for diagnostic purposes.

Over time, I felt drawn to explore ways in which the work could reach people beyond one-to-one sessions and group settings. Writing became a natural extension of this process, offering a quieter space to explore ideas that had been developing through practice, teaching, and lived experience.
Writing has also been a personal process of clarification and understanding. Putting thoughts into words helped deepen my own relationship with stillness, awareness, and inner life, while offering others a way to engage with these themes in their own time.
Writing continues to evolve as part of my work. Further projects are currently in development, allowing space for different themes and forms to take shape over time.
In 2019, I published my first book, The Wonder of Stillness, a meditation book for children. Written as a practical guide for parents and teachers, it offers structured ways to support children in meeting stress, emotions, and everyday challenges through quiet time, reflection and imagination.
In addition to books, I write shorter articles and reflections that explore specific themes as they arise. Shared online through my blog, these pieces allow ideas to be considered as they develop, offering space for continued reflection, careful thought and exploration.

Attention is given to the whole person, recognising the connection between physical health, emotional life and inner experience.
Natural remedies are used to support the body’s own capacity to respond, recover and find balance over time.
Time is taken to understand individual needs, allowing the work to be shaped around each person rather than being a fixed method.
Through careful exploration, attention is brought to what truly matters, allowing focus and clarity to emerge naturally.
Support is offered with continuity in mind, allowing the work to unfold gradually and adapt as new circumstances and life changes.
What is explored is intended to be lived, helping insights carry into daily choices, relationships and everyday routines.
Change often begins with a small, intentional step. This is an invitation to explore what might support you right now, and to begin from where you are.
I love Michelle’s positive energy and calmness. I live in Canada and always consult with Michelle on health issues. She has helped my family and me with many health conditions.

Michelle is a great and down to earth practitioner and I tend to turn to her with many of my health issues. I’m grateful for all the help I have received so far, but what I appreciate above all is her genuine interest in my person and my wellbeing. You know when a person loves what they are doing.

I went to Michelle for homeopathic advice and also attended a number of her meditation sessions. She was always helpful and supportive, and on every occasion I found her a truly caring and gentle person. In my opinion, Michelle radiates a medium of balance in a world that often doesn’t make sense.
