A meeting place between thought and experience, offering space to pause, reflect and gain perspectives.
Writing is part of how I continue to learn, question, and deepen my understanding of life and inner experience. It allows ideas to take form slowly and to be shared in a way that others can meet in their own time.
The books gathered here reflect that ongoing exploration and are offered as companions for reflection, curiosity and growth.
While this page currently features one published work, further books are in development and will be added as they take shape.

The Wonder of Stillness is a practical guide for parents and teachers to help children to deal with the stress and challenges of our busy and fast changing world. It provides techniques to help children reflect on their feelings and senses and use their creative imagination to promote their self-esteem and confidence.
My professional life began in law, working in law firms and financial institutions in the City of London. The work was demanding and provided a strong foundation in analysis, responsibility and structure. Alongside this, I became increasingly aware of the pressure and pace that shaped many people’s working lives, and of a growing sense that something important was missing.
At the same time, a wider curiosity was developing about people, inner life, and the nature of wellbeing. This led me to explore meditation, metaphysics, and ancient wisdom teachings, and to begin a personal meditation practice that has continued for over two decades.
A dedicated section is provided for practical guidance, offering a comprehensive set of instructions, including how to create a supportive environment for meditation. This includes setting up the room, children’s posture, the use of music and drawing materials, choosing suitable meditations, and guidance on reading the scripts aloud. Considerations around age, regularity of practice, affirmations, and chanting are also explored.
The main part of the book is divided into five sections: Calming, Uplifting, Creativity, Confidence, and Self-Healing. Each section contains at least five meditation scripts, with notes provided at the beginning of each one to help set the atmosphere and suggest ideas for gentle discussion and/or activity afterwards.

Michelle’s book is a delight to read for adults and kids alike. Michelle has brought together old traditional teachings and modern thought. There is enough to keep you interested and it’s simple enough not to bog you down. So it’s really relevant for today’s children who find it difficult to switch off. The practices Michelle passes on help open the heart so that connection to the world becomes easier. Meditate, smile, repeat.

Parents liked the special, quiet time with their children and felt that the children were very relaxed afterwards. They also described a feeling of peacefulness in the house afterwards and also an air of anticipation beforehand. The children liked the special time together. All parents felt the meditations were an exciting prospect for the future and thought that both parents and children would benefit hugely if they could be incorporated into their lives. All parents agreed that children's mental health is a massive issue and this is a great step towards what is necessary to help children in the future.

This beautifully written book will be a very helpful guide for me when teaching my children’s yoga classes. It's very easy to follow and implement - I particularly like the different categories. Children will definitely benefit from these magic meditations as I'm sure the parents and teachers will too!
